The Journal Times is seeking images celebrating all that is great in Racine County. Send us your best shot capturing the heart of the county for your chance to win!
Over 30,000 readers can see your photo in print as all photos entered will be featured in the Journal Times on or around Sunday, July 10th to kick off the first round of public and local celebrity/expert voting. The 12 winners in each category and runners-up will be featured in the 2012 Community Calendar available to 20,000+ homes.

Categories include:
| Nature & Landscapes – Outdoor scenes, sunrises/sunsets, urban scapes, lake shore views and farm country – to name a few – showcasing Racine County’s outdoor beauty. | Animals – Dogs and puppies, cats and kittens, birds, reptiles, amphibians as well as wildlife, farm life and insects. | Travel and Places – The joys and adventures encountered in Racine County, including landscapes and outdoor scenes as well as people, details and other subjects. |

Voting is open!
Starting on July 10th, photos entered in the contest will featured in The Journal Times and on this site. Check the schedule below for voting rounds. Check out all the fabulous photos entered in the contest and vote on this site by clicking the “Vote” tab, or ballots are available almost daily in The Journal Times, at the Journal Times or click HERE to download a PDF. Round 1 voting will result in 50 winners advancing to the 2nd round. Round 2 will result in 24 winners advancing to Round 3 with round 3 winners featured in the Journal Times Community Calendar. Each vote is a $0.50 donation to NIE.
