Take a shot that captures the moment and maybe you can be a Journal Times Photo Contest Winner and in the 2010 JT Community Calendar!
The categories we're looking for in this contest are Nature, People and Places. More information can be found on the FAQ page.
How does it work?
If you would like to participate, check out the "FAQ" link at the bottom for guidelines and then click on the "Submission" tab to enter. If you're only looking to vote, check the schedule on this page to see when the voting periods are. As long as you have purchased votes, you can apply them during any of those times.
Is there a cost?
The entry fee for all submitted photographs is $10, and ballots can be purchased on-line during the 3 rounds of voting for $.50 a piece. 100% of all money raised will go directly to the Newspapers In Education (NIE) literacy program in Racine County schools.
Are there prizes?
Yes. Prizes are given at the end of the contest. See the FAQ section for more information.
